Kenyimi Ihimbru Charles – Senior Advocacy Officer

Kenyimi Ihimbru Charles holds a first degree in Geography from the University of Yaounde I, Cameroon and diplomat in environmental studies from the School of ACP London, UK. He is a seasoned teacher and environmentalist and has been working with Cameroon’s ministry of environment and nature protection (MINEPDEP) as divisional delegate for over 13 years. Ihimbru Charles has held leadership positions in several community development associations and political organs. Between 2013 and 2018, he served as alternate senator for Menchum, North West Region, Cameroon. He has a rich background in policy advocacy for the promotion of local ownership and rights to natural resources.
