Dr. TAKU AWA II holds a PhD in Applied Ecology and Conservation from the University of Reading in the UK. He is currently a lecturer in Applied Ecology and wildlife Management at the University of Dschang, Cameroon. Dr. Taku Awa II is a seasoned teacher/researcher specialized in Applied Ecology and Ornithology with knowledge and experience in ecological assessment methods: able to structure research projects and capture data of sufficient quality and quantity into databases that facilitates integration and interpretation of highly dimensional data. Possess leadership and expertise to plan, develop, organize and implement ecological research programs, providing cutting edge ecological and policy solutions to environmental risks and contributing to overcome research and conservation challenges. Besides teaching and research, he is a qualified environmentalist with relevant experience in environmental compliance and regulatory management, environmental and social impact assessment, environmental monitoring, auditing and incident reporting, waste management, natural resource management and rehabilitation of disturbed landscapes.
