Alain Delon MOUAFO TAKOUNE holds a Master’s degree in Applied Ecology and Wildlife Management from the University of Dschang, Cameroon. He is currently a PhD candidate with current research interest being Species Distribution Modeling (SDM) in Mbam and Djerem National Park. Alain has over 5 years of experience in biodiversity conservation with a great interest on evidence-based studies that link conservation biology to sustainable development and youth empowerment. Member of Society for Conservation Biology (SCB)-Cameroon Chapter and founding member of Cameroon Pangolin Working Group (CPWG), he is also a volunteer at the Mbam and Djerem National Park project where he is focusing on the conservation of Pangolins. Alain is so passionate about the preservation of biodiversity and so generous with his time when it comes to safeguarding biodiversity for future generation.
